I came across yr blog post while finding infos on camping at Koh Lipe. I would like to know, how much do they charge per nite, and do you bring yr own camp? How about toilet and shower? If I bring my own portable gas stove, do they allow cooking on the camp site? Hope to hear fr u ASAP (reply to my email plz). Thx

Summed Sydney up well Roz, m’darlling. I would also add:

Do have bags of confidence and if you don’t, fake it until you make it! There is nothing like the confidence oozed by a Sydney lad and lass.

And furtherto Lucy T’s comment, there is a habit for shortening every name with an “o” on the end. I work with a Stevo, Catho, Simmo and we go to Paddo!! Get where this is going?

Got to get down with the acronym crowd…

Weekend fighing acronyms….. I’ll hop in a Ute (Utility Vehicle), go TTP (through the park), to the CBD then OTB (central business district …..over the bridge) then UTH (Up the hill) to the BBQ. Being well brought up, I’d not only BYOB but BYOS, (bring your own steak). Then we might head down to the RSL for a VB to watch the AFL or NRL game. Or for a more refined afternoon I can always go to the SCG to watch a ODI, or better, borrow Bex’s kayak from the LUG (lock up garage)….

Nice one, Roz! Again!!

By the way we do have hot springs in UK, I went to the one in Bath last year. It even has an open air pool on the roof and it was snowing! Unlike in Roman days, swimming attire was however de rigeur!
